Current Updates…

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday was the Ride For Heart and it was a rush considering it was awhile since I last rode a bicycle **yes, 25 years!**.  I got there a bit late with a few other group members.  A news crew actually approached me if I wanted to do a quick interview but already being late and anxious I redirected it to my teammate Clive Coley on our team.  Now, I am thinking it would have been nice to let everyone have a glimpse of the Ride For Heart showing a clip.  But I was too excited wanting to do the 50k ride and ready to explode onto the pavement!  The 75k ride was a lot earlier and I believe it was for 7:15 am.  When everyone approached the entrance we had to walk our bicycles for a good 10 minutes before jumping onto the highway.  The route went along the Gardiner and towards the DVP going north.  I paced myself and rode at a good pace during the course of the time.  Every so often I would really give it a go and speed on the downhill slants.  I went speeds at about 60 km and it was a exhilirating rush.  There were also stop overs during the ride and there was one at Lawrence I believe and another heading back on DVP south.  All and all it was a great ride and I was quite happy with my performance.  I actually felt great and I could have gone another 50k as I felt I was getting warmed up.  Definitely my conditioning helped me through this race as it can awkward or a little difficult for anyone who hasnt riden a bicycle for about 25 years or let alone participate for 50k ride their first time as well.  The only thing sore was my butt since Im not used to sitting on a seat for that long!  Well, this has really put a spark for me in riding and I enjoyed that nice brisk wind in my face.  That reminds me i’ll have to thank all the people who donated and supported for the Ride For Heart so I’ll be sending an email shortly.   I’m looking forward to the next year and anyone up for a 150k ride?! =)

I’ve been working on a book that will be completed and published by projection mid-end September 2009.  I’ll be giving more details on this “secret” book.  I feel it is different from any other book involving various principles I’ve integrated as a whole.  I might be wrong but I havent come across a book that has put out information or the complete total package to what I’ll be discussing.  Well, without revealing too much of what I am writing I will definitely give everyone more details as the date approaches!  Stay tuned folks and you wont be disappointed!  As well, I’ve been communicating with SelfGrowth a top notch organization recognized internationally.  I must thank Eric Taylor who has been patient and also giving excellent advice.  I’ll be in the process of being an Official Guide Expert along with other colleagues who are established and recognized in their field.  I am looking forward to jumping aboard in the next month or two.
